...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL JACKSON AND
NORTHEASTERN DEKALB COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 737 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pisgah, or 9 miles northeast of Scottsboro, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Henagar, Hollywood, Ider, Pisgah, Martintown, Rosalie,
Fabius, Higdon, and Sulpher Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for northeastern
Alabama.
