...A line of gusty showers will impact portions of central Boyd,
Greenup, northwestern Lawrence, Carter, northwestern Meigs, Perry,
western Gallia, Jackson, Morgan, Vinton, Athens and central Lawrence
Counties through 715 PM EST...

At 611 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking showers along a line
extending from 8 miles north of Somerset to Grange City.
Movement was east at 35 mph. Surface observations indicated wind
gusts as high as 45 mph associated with these showers, and 35 to 40
mph persisting behind the showers.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Athens, Ashland, Portsmouth, Ironton, Jackson, Wellston, Nelsonville,
New Lexington, Grayson, Coal Grove, Glouster, McConnelsville,
Mcarthur, Olive Hill, Oak Hill, Somerset, Rio Grande, Albany, Shawnee
and Chesterhill.

This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 149 and
185.

The showers could cause an abrupt drop in visibility, and slippery
conditions due to wet leaves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider securing loose objects and then seeking
shelter inside a building.
