The Flash Flood Watch for portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast
Ohio, southwest Virginia and West Virginia, including the following
areas, in northeast Kentucky, Boyd, Carter, Greenup and Lawrence KY.
In southeast Ohio, Athens, Gallia, Jackson OH, Lawrence OH, Meigs,
Morgan, Perry and Vinton. In southwest Virginia, Buchanan and
Dickenson. In West Virginia, Boone, Cabell, Jackson WV, Kanawha,
Lincoln, Logan, Mason, McDowell, Mingo, Northwest Fayette, Northwest
Raleigh, Putnam, Southeast Fayette, Southeast Raleigh, Wayne and
Wyoming has been cancelled.

The overall threat for flash flooding has diminished as heavy rain
has shifted northeast, out of the area. Thus, the Flash Flood Watch
has been cancelled.
