...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 12
inches. The greatest totals will be along and south of highway
24, east of Interstate 69.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult this evening into
Tuesday morning when the heaviest snow will fall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow will continue through late
morning, with an inch or less of additional accumulation
expected. There may be a lull in the accumulating snowfall early
this afternoon before an area of moderate to heavy snow moves in
this evening. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are
expected through early Tuesday morning. Gusty winds will cause
patchy blowing snow, especially in rural areas. Storm total
accumulations from this morning into early Tuesday afternoon
will range from 8 to 12 inches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
