...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 3 PM CDT
THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Marshall, Nemaha, Riley, Pottawatomie, Dickinson and
Geary Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 3 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong winds paired with low relative
humidity and recent dry conditions will also lead to an increase
in fire danger. Outdoor burning of any kind is strongly
discouraged.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
