...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of western Maryland...east central
Ohio...southwest Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including the
following areas, in western Maryland, Garrett. In east central
Ohio, Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, Muskingum and Noble. In southwest
Pennsylvania, Fayette, Fayette Ridges and Greene. In West
Virginia, Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Marion, Marshall,
Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and
Northwestern Preston, Western Tucker and Wetzel.

* From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning

* Heavy Rain is expected late Wednesday into Thursday morning in
places that are already sufficiently saturated. Rivers, streams,
and creeks are elevated and any additional rainfall may overwhelm
them.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to
Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You
should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
