...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has expanded the

* Flood Watch to include a portion of southeast Ohio, including
the following areas, Morgan and Perry.

* Through late tonight

* Rain will become more widespread this afternoon and continue
through the evening. The rain will be moderate to heavy at
times late this afternoon and early evening. Total rainfall
amounts of 1.5 to 2.0 inches will be possible through tonight.

* Flooding of low lying areas will be possible. In addition,
some creeks may exceed their banks resulting in potential road
closures...especially in southeast Ohio.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
