The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern San Diego County in southwestern California...

* Until 445 PM PDT.

* At 148 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Alpine, I-8 Between Pine Valley And Boulevard, Mount Laguna,
Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, Lake Morena, Potrero, Lake Cuyamaca,
Pine Valley, Hwy S1 Between Lake Cuyamaca And Mount Laguna and
southwestern Boulevard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
