FRIDAY FOR GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Red Flag
Warning...which is in effect from 10 AM Thursday to 10 PM PST
Friday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* WIND...Northeast 20 to 30 mph with areas of 30 to 40 mph near
and below passes and canyons. Gusts to 50 mph with local gusts
to 65 mph.
* HUMIDITY...Falling to around 5 percent on Friday.
* OUTLOOK...A second burst of moderate strength Santa Ana winds is
looking more likely Sunday and Monday.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly with
extreme fire behavior possible. Outdoor burning is not

strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
