...Areas of dense fog will last into the evening hours...

Areas of dense fog will continue to be common at least through
mid-evening for northwest North Carolina and portions of
southwestern Virginia. The Interstate 77 corridor from Yadkinville
to Mount Airy to Fancy Gap and Hillsville will be affected. Many
other rural routes will also be affected by visibilities as low as
zero at times. Motorists should plan ahead and expect potential
delays.
