Southeastern Riley County in northeastern Kansas...
Southern Pottawatomie County in northeastern Kansas...
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 653 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Manhattan to near Volland, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Public. At 640 PM CDT, personal weather station measured a
69 mph wind gust 8 miles north of Dwight.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Wamego, St. Marys, St. George, Belvue, Emmett, and Louisville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
