...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL ELMORE...EAST
CENTRAL LOWNDES AND CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 346 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
southwestern Montgomery, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Montgomery, Pike Road, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Alabama State
University, Auburn University In Montgomery, Hope Hull, Woodcrest,
Emerald Mountain, Dannelly Field, Eastdale Mall, Mount Meigs, Maxwell
Air Force Base, Snowdoun, Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, Pinedale,
Lagoon Park, Waugh, Gunter Air Force Base, Pintlala, and Alabama
State Capitol.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 65 between mile markers 155 and 173.
Interstate 85 between mile markers 1 and 17.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
