SOUTHWESTERN MACON AND NORTHEASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 415
PM CDT...

At 332 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Milstead, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tallassee, Milstead, Shorter, Franklin, Hardaway, Liverpool,
Tysonville, Victoryland, Cross Keys, and Cecil.

This includes Interstate 85 between mile markers 18 and 32.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
