...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TUESDAY TO 9 PM PDT
WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Heat Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM Tuesday to 9 PM PDT
Wednesday.

* TEMPERATURES...90-95 across the extreme inland portions of the
Los Angeles coastal zone, including Downtown Los Angeles and
Hollywood.

* Impacts...The very high temperatures create a dangerous
situation in which heat related illnesses are possible.
Temperatures inside vehicles, even if the windows are
partially open, can quickly rise to life-threatening levels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and
neighbors.
