The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
West Central Kane County in southern Utah...
East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...
* Until 515 PM MDT.
* At 116 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across Zion National Park. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches
of rain have already fallen in the upper headwaters of the
Narrows. Additional storms are likely to develop across Zion
Canyon over the next several hours with additional rainfall
amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
slot canyon, and normally dry washes.
