Gallia County in southeastern Ohio...
Southeastern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio...
Central Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio...
Southwestern Mason County in western West Virginia...
North central Cabell County in central West Virginia...
West central Putnam County in western West Virginia...

* Until 630 AM EDT.

* At 602 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near South Webster, or 9 miles east of Wheelersburg,
moving east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Gallia, southeastern Jackson, central Lawrence, southwestern Mason,
north central Cabell and west central Putnam Counties, including
the following locations... Gallia, Gallopolis Ferry, Crown City,
Gage, Adamsville, Pedro, Centerpoint, Waterloo, Ashton, and Aid.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
