...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
county, Harris.
* WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1113 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northern Missouri City, Bellaire, Humble, West University
Place, Katy, Tomball, Jersey Village, Hunters Creek Village,
Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Spring Branch
North, Spring Valley, Spring Branch West, Greater
Greenspoint, Northside / Northline, Addicks Park Ten,
Memorial Park, Greater Heights, Afton Oaks / River Oaks Area
and Aldine.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
