* Until 830 AM CDT.
* At 738 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lacona, or 12
miles north of Chariton, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

Indianola, Oskaloosa, Pella, Knoxville, Chariton, Albia,
Pleasantville, New Sharon, Melcher-Dallas, Eddyville, Knoxville
Raceway, Lake Red Rock, Milo, Russell, Lovilia, Beacon, University
Park, Bussey, Lacona, and Blakesburg.
