...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Illinois, including
the following counties, in northwest Illinois, Stephenson. In west
central Illinois, McDonough and Warren.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Very high atmospheric moisture across the area will bring
heavy rain from several rounds of thunderstorms. Rainfall
rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour are possible.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
