Northern Fayette County in south central Texas...
* Until 1245 AM CDT.
* At 1127 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Camp Swift to Cistern, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Bastrop, Giddings, La Grange, Smithville, Lexington, Fayetteville,
Dime Box, Round Top, Fedor, Camp Swift, Circle D-KC Estates,
Rosanky, Paige, Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway, Upton,
Carmine, Hills Prairie, Northrup, Rutersville, and Ledbetter.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread
significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately
likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant
property damage.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
