* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 possible, especially
in outlying areas away from larger bodies of water.

* WHERE...The District of Columbia. In Maryland, Anne Arundel,
Prince Georges, Calvert, Charles, and St. Marys Counties. In
Virginia, King George and Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria
Counties.

* WHEN...From late Monday night through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
