* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northern Hancock County in west central Illinois...
Southern Henderson County in west central Illinois...
Southern Warren County in west central Illinois...
Northern McDonough County in west central Illinois...

* Until 800 PM CDT.

* At 656 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Abingdon to near Tennessee, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
Macomb, Bushnell, Colchester, Avon, Good Hope, Prairie City,
Little Swan Lake, Western Illinois University, Walnut Grove, and
Prairie City Airport around 700 PM CDT.
Bardolph around 705 PM CDT.
New Philadelphia around 715 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for west central
Illinois...and southeastern Iowa.
