...Elevated Fire Danger Today...
Strong northerly winds gusting up to 35 MPH, low humidity, mild
temperatures and dried vegetation will combine to produce an
Elevated Fire Danger today, especially south of Interstate 80. If
a fire were to start under these conditions, there would be an
increased threat of fire spread and may be difficult to control.
Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Use extra caution while
operating outdoor equipment around dry vegetation and do not
carelessly discard cigarettes.
