...Lingering Shallow Blowing Snow Leading to Hazardous Travel...
Some shallow blowing snow persists over west-central Illinois
early this morning as west-northwest winds continue to gust around
20 to 30 mph. While visibility has improved, there could still be
some lingering hazardous travel conditions from this shallow
blowing snow.
If out traveling early this morning, use extra caution and be
alert for snow/ice covered roadways. Slow down, and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
