* At 1114 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northeast of Bealeton to 15 miles northwest
of Fredericksburg, moving northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Centreville, Dale City, Lake Ridge, Linton Hall, Montclair, Bull
Run, Dumfries, Bealeton, Manassas, Sudley, Cherry Hill, Manassas
Park, Fairfax Station, Independent Hill, Nokesville, Catlett,
Clifton, Calverton, Midland, and Roseville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for northern and
central Virginia.
