...Patchy Dense Fog This Morning...

Areas of fog have developed across portions of north-central and
northwest Illinois and could become locally dense with visibilities
under a half mile at times. If traveling, be prepared for sudden
changes in visibilities over very short distances, make sure to
slow down, and keep plenty of stopping distance in front of you.
The fog will dissipate by the mid to late morning.
