...INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM NOON TO 6 PM EST TODAY...

Minimum relative humidity will drop below 25 percent this
afternoon, with wind gusts up to 25 mph expected. Low humidity
combined with gusty winds will lead to increased fire danger
this afternoon and early evening across the North Carolina
Piedmont.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn Friday. If you do burn, use extreme caution since
fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
