...HIGH FIRE DANGER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING
FOR ALL OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA DUE TO STRONG WINDS...

Much colder and drier air will filter into the region today.
Sustained winds of 10 to 16 MPH can be expected along with gusts
of 20 to 30 MPH. Relative Humidities will range from 25 to 35%
this afternoon and may briefly dip below 25% across portions of
Central and far eastern Georgia this afternoon. While colder
temperatures temperatures may limit erratic fire behavior, the
risk for quick spread of fire remains elevated across North and
Central Georgia through the afternoon.

With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities
whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside,
use extreme caution.
