* WHAT...Patchy fog resulting in visibilities of one quarter mile or
less.
* WHERE...Much of the Piedmont and Sandhills of central North
Carolina.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The lowest visibilities are expected across
the western Piedmont and Sandhills, for areas along and west of
the US-1 corridor.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you. Be especially cautious in school
zones and watch for children and the flashing lights of school buses.
