At 155 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Prunedale, or 9 miles north of Salinas, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Gilroy, Hollister, Prunedale, San Juan Bautista and Aromas.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
