* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE...In North Carolina, Alleghany NC, Ashe, and Watauga
Counties. In Virginia, Carroll, Floyd, Grayson, and Roanoke
Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM to 10 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Watch for falling debris, tree limbs, and downed power lines. Use
