...INCREASED FIRE DANGER FROM 11 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH 6
PM WEDNESDAY EVENING...

Abnormally dry conditions continue over portions of western North
Carolina. The combination of low relative humidity dropping into
the 30 to 35 percent range with gusty west to southwest winds of
20 to 30 mph, an Increased Fire Danger statement has been issued
for the Central and Northern Mountains and the Piedmont. This is
in effect for Wednesday from 11 am to 6 pm.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can
quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
