At 736 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 7 miles southwest of Mocksville to 8 miles east of
Lincolnton to 7 miles northeast of Gaffney. Movement was east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gastonia, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Salisbury, Lincolnton,
Mocksville, Shelby, Statesville, Northeast Charlotte, and Northwest
Charlotte.

If on or near Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake, or Lake Wylie, get
out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. The winds
with this line of showers may be strong enough to capsize a boat.
