At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 12 miles east of Taylorsville to 4 miles northeast of
Newton to 12 miles northwest of Shelby. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Statesville, Newton, Lincolnton, Hickory, Taylorsville, St. Stephens,
Conover, Cherryville, Maiden, and Troutman.
