At 619 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 6 miles southwest of Boomer to 10 miles east of
Morganton to 13 miles southeast of Marion. Movement was east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
