...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL MOFFAT AND
SOUTHEASTERN DAGGETT COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM MDT...
At 905 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 25
miles northeast of Vernal, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Moffat
and southeastern Daggett Counties.
This includes Colorado 318 between mile markers 5 and 16.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
