...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MOFFAT COUNTY
THROUGH 130 AM MDT...
At 101 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 39 miles southeast of Squaw Hollow Boat Ramp On
Flaming Gorge to 50 miles north of Rangely to 36 miles northeast of
Dinosaur. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sparks, Powder Wash, and Hiawatha.
This includes Colorado 318 between mile markers 30 and 43.
