...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CLEVELAND AND
NORTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...
At 413 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles southwest of Shelby, or near Earl, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Shelby, Kings Mountain, Grover, Patterson Springs, Waco, Earl,
Blacksburg, Boiling Springs NC, and Crowders Mountain State Park.
