...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL GARFIELD COUNTY
THROUGH 215 PM MDT...

At 151 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18
miles northwest of De Beque, or 28 miles north of Grand Junction,
moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Garfield County.
