...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of McDonough and
southeastern Hancock Counties through 945 AM CDT...
At 836 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near West Point to near Quincy. Movement was
northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and minor flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Slowing or redirecting of traffic due to
ponding or flowing water. Closure of waterfront access due
to flooding.

Walnut Grove, Western Illinois University, Sciota, Macomb Municipal
Airport, Good Hope, Bowen, Tennessee, Fandon, Stillwell, Bushnell,
Industry, New Philadelphia, Prairie City Airport, Prairie City,
McDonough County 4-H Grounds, Denver, Colmar, Macomb, Argyle Lake
State Park, and Pennington Point.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
