...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TO 10 PM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest winds to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
Winds switching to the northwest late in the day.

* WHERE...In Illinois, Hancock and McDonough Counties. In Iowa, Lee
County. In Missouri, Clark and Scotland Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to 10 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will quickly change to snow Wednesday
night, mainly between 7 to 10 PM from west to east, which could
lead to significant reductions in visibilities.
