The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for potential critical fire danger, which is in
effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...eastern Iowa, far northeast Missouri and
northwest and west central Illinois.
* TIMING...From Friday afternoon through Friday evening.
* WINDS...Southeast 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 33 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Up to 80.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
