...Wind Chill Values Below Zero This Morning...
Temperatures are currently in the single digits and lower teens
above zero across eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois and far
northeast Missouri. Cold temperatures combined with gusty
northwest winds is resulting in wind chill values in the single
digits and teens below zero across the area. The coldest wind
chills are occurring west of the Mississippi River this morning
with values as cold as 20 below possible with chills as cold as 10
below east of the river. If going outside this morning, dress in
layers, cover exposed skin, and limit time outdoors
