* WHAT...South to southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50
mph. Lingering showers may also produce enhanced wind gusts.
* WHERE...Portions of north central, northwest, and west central
Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and
northeast Missouri.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST early this morning.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and
holiday decorations. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few
power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Passing showers may also
produce enhanced wind gusts.
