Northwestern Jefferson County in southeastern Iowa...
Southwestern Linn County in east central Iowa...
Iowa County in east central Iowa...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 610 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Iowa County Fairgrounds to Montezuma, moving
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Iowa City, Washington, Marengo, Sigourney, Coralville, North
Liberty, Williamsburg, Kalona, Solon, Tiffin, Walford, Wellman,
Lone Tree, University Heights, North English, Riverside, Victor,
Swisher, Oxford, and Hedrick.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 205 and 253.
Interstate 380 between mile markers 1 and 12.

sturdy building.
